English for Special Purposes (ESP)

ESP is English language instruction for a specific goal or setting that requires learning the language needed just for that purpose. Examples of ESP instruction we provide include:

Preparation for the State of Hawai'i Driving Test
Preparation for a particular test in order to:

practice nursing in Hawai'i;
become licensed to work at a beauty salon;
work as a bartender;
write particular kinds of business letters;
learn the language needed to understand what your doctor or lawyer may need to tell you;
and any other "specialized" language instruction for life situations that may be important for you!
